The CCI (Commodity Channel Index) is a technical analysis indicator developed by Donald Lambert in the 1980s. Originally designed to identify commodity cycles, it is now also used for other assets, such as stocks, currencies, and indices.

The CCI measures the deviation of an asset's price from its statistical mean value, indicating how far a price is from its average level over a given period. It helps determine when an asset is overbought or oversold.
